Fernando Sor – Andante for guitar op. 45 no. 5

This Andante op. 45 no. 5 was the first piece by Sor that I played, having found it many years ago in Isaias Savio’s anthology of music by Sor.

Don’t play it too slowly. Andante at that time did not necessarily mean slow as it usually does now! It only meant “keep a steady beat”.
