Sor’s Appel des nègres aux français is a song for bass voice and guitar, in march tempo, against slavery and in favour of freeing slaves. It is of very great interest not only because of the music, but because of Sor’s involvement, through it, in what we today call human rights. It was published in Paris in about 1832.
This edition is re-engraved, not facsimile.
