Mauro Giuliani’s XVIII Divertimenti Notturni for flute or violin and guitar, op. 86, are here presented in a new modern re-engraved edition, score and parts, ready for performance, urtext and authentic, based strictly on the original editions with no modern elements or fingering introduced.
These are eighteen short pieces with many delightful touches. The title-page bears the words “d’una facilità progressiva”, which indicates a didactic aim. The work was first published in Vienna in 1817 or 1818.
PIECES 1 AND 2 ARE PROVIDED FREE HERE.
