Mauro Giuliani’s Complete Works, Volume 21 (Tecla facsimile edition) contains three duets for two guitars, including La Lira Notturna op.69. With an introduction by Brian Jeffery

The edition consists of a first guitar part and a second guitar part (no score).

Contains the following three works for guitar duet, in reprints of the first editions:

• Op. 69: La Lira Notturna (a collection of twenty pieces). For one terz guitar and one normal guitar.
• Polonaise (arranged from the third movement of the Concerto op. 70). For one terz guitar and one normal guitar.
• Op. 116: Le Avventure di Amore (ten waltzes bearing the names of episodes in a love affair: L’Invito al ballo, L’Affetto, etc.). For two normal guitars.

48 + 32 pages.   First published by Tecla in 1987.

We don’t offer many CDs, only exceptionally, and these are exceptional. The performers recorded the works from this Tecla edition of volumes 19-24 of Giuliani’s Complete Works.
