Oleg Kiselev is a Russian guitarist and composer. I met him in 2004, in Serbia. He’s a very cheerful person and his music makes one feel good.
Tecla publishes his collection Ten Episodes in a Young Guitarist’s Day, ten delightful and catchy pieces for guitar, most of them easy, from “Morning song” to “Touch the rainbow” to “A warm quiet evening”. CD included, with all the pieces played by the composer.
Strawberries and Cream is published in Russia but we have some copies and can supply it. It has lots of delightful pieces, mostly not difficult. It has 48 pages. Again CD included, with all the pieces played by the composer.
Clouds is again published in Russia but we have some copies and can supply it. It has 20 pages. Again CD included, with all the pieces played by the composer.
Classical Guitar magazine wrote about Strawberries and Cream in September 2005: “It consists of 28 little pieces of considerable charm and variety … it is the music that matters and it is wonderful. It is all not too difficult … I do hope that an enterprising music company has arranged to get this imported into the UK”
Yes we have! Strawberries and Cream is available from Tecla Editions.
